The emergence of Cloud Computing has created a paradigm-shift in software development. It enables new projects to rapidly evolve from concept to production, and existing systems to be enhanced and extended into hybrid applications. The Microsoft Azure platform provides a broad range of services that are constantly evolving, and are rapidly becoming a vital part of today’s development and operations.Mer information & fakta
Do you possess the skills and knowledge to leverage these new technologies and services?
The Azure Academy is an intensive training program created by experts who are experienced in delivering solutions on the Azure platform. The training sessions are comprised of lectures, discussions, hands-on labs and group activities. As an attendee you will be taught the theory of designing and building cloud-based applications and then reinforce that knowledge with open ended challenge style hands-on labs. Azure experts and community leaders Alan Smith, Robert Folkesson, Jakob Ehn and Peter Örneholm will provide in-depth coverage of the services and technologies that they leverage on a daily basis to deliver customer solutions.
On completion of the course, you will not only understand the theory but be able to translate it into delivering effective, scalable and reliable cloud-based applications.
The training will consist of three two-day courses. You can attend all three courses for a discounted price, or choose just one or two courses.
Other Azure Academy courses:
Utilizing Azure’s data services to deploy performant, scalable and cost-effective storage solutions
This module will give an overview of the alternatives for data storage and drill into some of the most important services for handling data in Azure.
- Overview of the different storage alternatives
- Blobs and Tables – storage for scale
- CosmosDB - globally distributed multi-model database system
- SQL Database – transactional power with geo-replication
- Big Data services – Data Lake and Data Warehouse
Messaging Services and IoT
Asynchronous communication and telemetry stream processing
Asynchronous messaging and event processing are important in many cloud and hybrid application scenarios. This module will provide detailed coverage of using Queues, Topics and Subscriptions in the Azure Service Bus, and creating evening and telemetry pipelines using Event Hubs. Other services, such as Event Grid and IoT Hub will also be covered.
- Enterprise class messaging with the Azure Service Bus
- Telemetry ingestion using Azure Event Hubs
- Event processing with Azure Stream Analytics
- Event handling using Azure Event Grid
- Developing cloud-based IoT solutions
- Lab: Asynchronous messaging with Azure Service Bus
- Lab: Building a telemetry pipeline with Event Hub, Stream Analytics and Signal R
The target audience for the Azure Academy is developers who are experienced with building solutions using Microsoft technologies. Some basic experience with some of the Azure services is merited, but not required.
